Employer Nomination Scheme
The Employer Nomination Scheme allows eligible Australian employers to sponsor suitably skilled overseas workers to live and work permanently in Australia. The Employer Nomination Scheme is a Permanent Residency visa. Once granted, it allows the holder and family members included in the application to stay in Australia indefinitely.
Skilled Independent Visa
The visa is a permanent application allowing the applicants to remain indefinitely in Australia with full work rights. It does not require sponsorship by a State/Territory Government or relative in Australia. In order to apply for a Skilled Independent visa, you must first lodge an Expression of Interest through Skill-Select and be invited by the Department of Immigration to apply.
Skilled Nominated Visa
The Skilled Nominated visa is a permanent General Skilled Migration visa which requires nomination by a State or Territory Government. In order to apply for a Skilled Nominated visa, you must first lodge an Expression of Interest and be invited by the Department of Immigration to apply. Once you are invited to apply for a skilled visa, you must lodge your application within 60 days, otherwise the invitation lapses.
